Quality in the Gesso moulding industry is determined by three factors: Moisture Content, Surface Smoothness, and Primer Adhesion. Our Kiln Dried process ensures that all timber is reduced to 8-12% moisture, preventing future warping or shrinking. Following the finger-jointing process, the moulding undergoes a triple-coat Gesso application. Each coat is followed by fine-grit mechanical sanding to ensure the subsequent layer bonds perfectly.
